our first Christmas tree!

Yup, bought our first tree nearly a week old and doing very well. Got the ps3 over now. Just need to do a bit more gloss work on the living room walls and then I will set all the telly up. Got nics dad sorting the doors out on Saturday and the fridge freezer coming Sunday. Finally starting to chill a little!

damp proofing the kitchen

So now its on to the damp proofing. Both in the kitchen and the dinning room. What a mess! Creates so much dust and muck. Really happy we didn't buy any furniture for the front room. Would of been caked in dust!. It's even upstairs in the bedroom! Should be another day or so before its done

new door!

Today,Nicolas dad did a great job of fitting some French doors for us and we cleaned up the rubble! Interesting to see how its done. Basically make a hole big enough for you door, put some damp course in, use expanding foam round the edges. Still work to be done. Big hole at the top to be filled and plastering round the edges. Hope its ok tonight! Damp proofing tomorrow.
